Seed paper is a natural product and has some absorbent properties. This means that colour may not appear as vibrant when compared with other medium. As the surface is uneven, artwork should NOT include a solid flood of colour or complex photographic images as blank spots may appear either side of the seeds which are in the paper.

How to use seed paper FEED BEES, BUTTERFLIES AND INSECTS WITH SEED PAPER • soak the paper in water and leave overnight. • Place it on top of the earth and cover with some soil. • Always keep the paper moist. • Depending on the time of the year, it should take only 7-10 days for the seeds to germinate.
